THE GOVERNOR'S PROPOSED REFORMS

SUPPORT REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER'S REFORM AGENDA & HELP CLEAN UP THE POLITICAL MESS
CREATED BY THE DEMOCRATS WHEN GRAY DAVIS WAS GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA -- THE DRIVE TO PURGE CALIFORNIA STATE
GOVERNMENT & PUBLIC POLICY OF THE SHAMEFUL LEGACY OF THE FAILED & CORRUPT RULE OF GRAY DAVIS & THE
DEMOCRATIC PARTY
FULL STORY:
In late January, 2003, we launched the Recall Gray Davis Committee to save the State of California from the failed and corrupt rule of
Governor Gray Davis.
The news media, political "experts," and just about everybody else said the recall effort would never even make the ballot, let alone
receive the support of the voters.
But thanks to the leadership of Recall Gray Davis Committee Chairman, Howard Kaloogian, and the efforts of talk radio hosts like
Melanie Morgan (KSFO 560 San Francisco), Eric Hogue (KTKZ 1380 Sacramento) and Roger Hedgecock (KOGO 600 AM San Diego),
we proved them wrong.
The people of California wanted change and knew that the political leadership of our State was failing. Now it's time to continue the
job of the recall -- to help our Governor put our State on the right path.
And we cannot do that, unless we pass the positive reforms Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be fighting for in this year's
special elections.
Among these proposed reforms, are the following:
Stop the habitual overspending of state legislators with a budget reform proposal
Reward those teachers who help our children succeed the most
Take redistricting of legislative districts out of the hands of legislators and place
such decisions in the hands of the voters -- so that voters will actually have a
choice in elections.
Stop labor unions from misusing the money they take from union members'
paychecks by engaging in partisan politics and opposing any meaningful reform

THE GOVERNOR NEEDS OUR HELP
The reform agenda outlined above faces serious opposition.
Surely, you've seen the non-stop television ads paid for by a whole array of special interest groups who want to block the positive
reforms proposed by Governor Schwarzenegger.
After all, if the State stops spending money recklessly, then these special interests and public employee unions will receive less
money. If labor unions have to ask permission before spending a union workers paycheck on political campaigns, then they will have
less political clout.
So these groups are fighting viciously to defeat Governor Schwarzenegger and his reforms. Their campaign of deceit and deception
against the Governor has greatly damaged his standing with voters, which is why it is so important that informed people like you
stand up for our Governor now.
Please, stand forward and show your support for Governor Schwarzenegger's reform campaign.
Working together we overcame the odds and our opponents. We took the first step in restoring the California Dream by recalling
Gray Davis and electing Governor Schwarzenegger.
Now we can take the next step forward by enacting the important reforms the Governor has put forward. Don't let the distortions and
phony criticisms of the Governor's plan discourage you; his reforms are positive steps in needed reform in California. But again, we
have to work together to win this fight.
